The Phenomena · Wasiu Ayinde 50 Years On Stage
K1 De Ultimate · 50 years on stage. A once-in-a-lifetime anniversary celebration of the king who carried Fuji music from the streets of Ijebu to the world stage.
How The Phenomena · Wasiu Ayinde 50 Years On Stage came together.
Abiola Oderinde, Founder, Hunter TV Africa
Fifty years. Five full decades of one man carrying a genre on his back, and Hunter TV Africa got to put our name on the poster next to his. That’s a personal honour I’ll carry forever.
The Phenomena was never going to be a regular show. K1 De Ultimate had spent half a century building Fuji into what it is today. Our job was simple: give that journey the staging, the lighting and the storytelling it deserved.
We picked the Oriental Hotel in Lagos for a reason. It’s the kind of room where every generation in the family feels at home — the elders in agbada, the cousins in lace, the younger crowd in their cleanest white. Doors at 8, show at 9, and by 10pm that ballroom was a moving sea of celebration.
Early bird ₦12,000, Standard ₦20,000, King’s Row ₦50,000. Talazo tables 1M, Abaranje 1.5M, Mayegun 2M. Tickets via allevents.ng. For sponsorship and reservations: +2349030069121.
Watching K1 walk on stage and hold a room of thousands without ever raising his voice — that’s the kind of masterclass you can’t pay tuition for. If you were in that room on August 19, 2022, you witnessed living history.
